  36. The KeyMapEd.lha archive already present on Aminet:util/misc/ contains only
  37. the program (V1.1i) without documentation. Complete archives can be found on
  38. Fish Disk 193 (KeyMapEd V1.0) and Fish Disk 388 (KeyMapEd V1.1i).

  40. Moreover, I have used always a slightly more recent version of KeyMapEd,
  41. unissued both on Aminet and Fish Disks. This version, KeyMapEd V1.2, actually
  42. seems to be version 1.1i recompiled: the only visible change is that the more
  43. recent version of the program does not open a blank tiny window (besides the
  44. Load/Edit/Save windows and the GUI) when it is run. I presume that KeyMapEd
  45. V1.2 was compiled by Tim Friest, but actually I have no reliable information
  46. about this. Unfortunately I don't remember at all how I obtained this version:
  47. more than ten years passed since then...

  49. Anyway, since the utility was declared FreeWare by the author, I have decided
  50. to upload a complete and updated package onto Aminet for all the people
  51. interested. It has been assembled by me as follows:
